SharePoint Server 2007 Resources
It is a good solution to issue InfoPath Forms to the SharePoint website to collect data. Few people are familiar with this although Infopath is a standard component of office 2003. Therefore, it is quite difficult to popularize it and make users receive a new client athough it is easy to develop a form by using infopath.
Hence, SharePoint 3.0 really requires the functionality of InfoPath Forms Services. With the help of this function, we can publish the InfoPath Forms to Web and fill the forms by using Web browser. Then we will get the two advantages, we can not only use the strong function of form design, but also it is easy for users to use.
So as soon as I notice Microsoft issued it, I went to download.
The required software includes the following:

Problems
After I create an application and website, I create a browser compatible form by using InfoPath2007. I fill in some data randomly, select Publish. Then the question arises. An error message indicates that unable to publish the browser compatible form to the web site of SharePoint Server 2007.
Information:
This form template is browser-compatible, but it cannot be browser-enabled on the selecte site.
This may be caused by one of the following reasons:
– The server is not running InfoPath Forms Services
– The necessary features are not available on the site collection
– The policy setting on the server does not allow users to browse enable templates.
Find out the reason and solution through several Google steps:
Enable Enterprise features
If you installed Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 by using the Standard license type, and are now converting your license type to the Enterprise license, you can enable and push down the Enterprise feature set to all sites in your server farm.
So that’s the way it is!
InfoPath Forms Services are released as a feature of the enterprise edition. The feature is not activated after the installation.
